GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort
The highly durable upper made of suede and microfiber hides a thin, extremely breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane, which will provide your foot with an optimal microclimate in a wide range of weather conditions and effective protection against rain. The membrane consistently resists water attacks that do not penetrate inside the shoe, while sweat in the form of water vapor easily penetrates to the outside to keep your feet warm and dry.
Climbing precision
The front part of the shoe is equipped with Edging Plate, i.e. a plate integrated with the inner sole that ensures optimal stiffness of the shoe under the toes. The rest of the sole remains flexible, allowing the foot to roll comfortably and naturally.
The trademark SALEWA 3F System connects the instep area of the shoe with the sole and heel; ensuring flexibility, support and the correct fit where it’s needed.
Climbing Lacing offers accurate adjustment in the toe-area of your shoe, giving you more support
and performance when tackling technical terrain.
This special insole plate provides greater stiffness under
the toes without affecting flexibility in the rest of the
shoe. For greater climbing precision, but still with full
walking comfort.
The EXA Shell grid structure wraps around your upper foot, providing you with a precise fit and perfect frontfoot balance. The shell also minimizes abrasion of the upper material.
The innovative multi-layer MFF+ allows for more customization on the forefoot by using two interchangeable layers to accommodate a greater range of foot shapes and sizes.
The Speed MTN sole is characterized by a balanced ratio between grip and
traction. Grip is given by the new POMOCA Butylic compound, performing
at high level both on dry and wet hard surfaces. On the other side on mud
and soft terrain traction is guaranteed by the special lug profile.
A sole for fast mountain approaches or traversing with constant grip.
